I SOLVED IT. Crabs and his wife had just gotten married. When his wife became pregnant and gave birth, they discovered it was fully whale. The only explanation could be that Pearl was conceived by two whales. Crabs’ wife confessed to an affair, and left him for the other man. In the divorce, Crabs won custody. His ex-wife does not pay child support. This explains why he is so greedy.
